Philosophy:
Demi's counseling philosophy includes the following: Because we have all been hurt in relationship (to a person, group, or event), we can best be healed in relationship. The counseling relationship exists in order to heal the counselee. Demi believes that God's nature is a perfect balance of truth and grace, and that balance is sought after in the counseling experience. To that end, Demi approaches her patients with compassion and understanding while still helping them to find the truths they need to direct them towards healing and wholeness.
