Counseling services are provided by Demian Patricia Wood who has over 20 years experience as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Colorado, Hawaii, and California.

Demi
specializes in all aspects of childhood trauma including its effects on
marital and romantic relationships, parenting styles, anxiety and
depression, grief/loss, and workplace relationships. She can help
children and adults overcome the traumas they have experienced in
childhood and also help adults who are parenting a traumatized or
otherwise challenging child. She can help partners to understand how
childhood trauma affects their marriages and how individual healing can
save a marriage. Her approach is relationship based and focused on in
depth healing rather than superficial behavior change.
Demi offers specialized counseling and coaching services to a select group of clients in a confidential setting. She accepts only clients who are motivated for change and who are willing to be both educated and challenged. She uses a family systems approach and parents must be available to participate in sessions when working with challenging children. |

CHRISTIAN COUNSELING is located at 1218 Hawkeye Court in Fort Collins,
Colorado. Counseling and coaching services are provided to
individuals, couples, and families. Receipts are provided for insured
clients to receive reimbursement from their insurance companies.
Uninsured clients are also welcome and some clients may qualify for

She can tailor her presentation to parents, educators, adoption/foster agencies and workers, service groups, support groups, and non-profit and corporate sponsors. A former university professor, prior to entering the counseling field, Demi was a managment consultant working to improve employee and management performance for Fortune 100 and 500 companies. She is also an experienced weekend seminar leader.
